The mechanism of human thinking consists of two stages: First, the stage of experiential interaction with forms—that is, practical engagement within the realm of forms or shaped space, where the human being both influences and is influenced by external phenomena. Second, the stage of rational experience, where the mind engages in the extraction of concepts from shaped (formal) data, reflecting deeply on the meaning behind sensory and situational inputs.
The illusory mind is trapped in habitual and imitative practical experiences. Its interactions with the realm of forms are repetitive, unquestioned, and often driven by external social norms or emotional conditioning. This mind imposes ready-made conclusions on life decisions without passing through rational filtering or critical analysis. It suffers from incomplete shaped experience and a lack of rational conceptualization. Such a mind leads a narrative-driven life, where events are interpreted and retold within the limits of memorized patterns and external assumptions. When confronted with analytical or philosophical questions, the illusory mind typically responds with avoidance, delayed reactions, defensive justification, or outright dismissal.
The imaginative mind, in contrast, engages in structured and intentional practical experiences where both influence and response are consciously directed. This reflective behavior arises from the mind’s active participation in rational experience. Faced with questions, the imaginative mind responds with enthusiasm, openness, and curiosity, demonstrating a genuine thirst for understanding. This mind leads a parable-telling life—a life marked by meaning-oriented reflections that emerge from shaped experiences but are refined and enriched through rational insight. To facilitate this, the imaginative mind uses purposeful and selected shaped data to build new mental spaces for rational inquiry and conceptual discovery. Furthermore, it develops intentional strategies for expressing its insights back into the shaped (formal) space, thus creating a deliberate cycle of experience, reflection, and communication
The visionary mind is a mature imaginative mind that, due to constant use of both practical experience and rational experience, reaches such a level that it experiences inspirational revelation within its imaginative space. This mind is capable of foreseeing or envisioning the stages of its future life, even after the conscious mind has detached from the realm of forms.
